Playing as different animals in their natural habitat as you explore and stay alive can be a fun challenge. Singleplayer was near impossible, so I mostly played on the servers with the most people on, or in empty ones with my friends. However, people used to just be crocodiles, or the strongest animal available, and camp the rivers or the food, and kill anyone that came near- sometimes they killed you just for sport. Of course, people hated everyone like that, but they only played on the servers with people on.I made friends with one of the people like that, but it didn't last and I'm glad it didn't; they were pretty toxic, and we barely ever spoke anyways. You needed friends for this game to have even a little bit of fun, and you needed a big group of people to even have a chance of survival, so take that as what you will. Even then, though, there wasn't anything to do except for eat, drink, and have babies that don't do anything.Chat filter was ridiculous. You couldn't say words like "grass" or "titan" but you could bypass it pretty easily. It was more of a chore to bypass it than anything, but I guess that's a good thing depending on how you look at it.Something that can't be ignored, however, is the fact that the game had its ups as well, most of the people there were nice (aside from the ones I mentioned above), and its good and funny moments, I'm kinda glad it got shut down. But I'm also a little disappointed.Regardless of what animal you played, it was more often than not the prey animals that killed you, similarly to what I've seen in other reviews like this one. You could be a lion, crocodile, bear, you name it, and you end up being killed by a wildebeest or a rabbit of all things. Sometimes even a meerkat if you were unlucky enough.Babies were annoying to deal with, and didn't even look like how a baby should. It was just the adult models sized down a lot - and because of this, it was easy for them to get out of your sight if they're not following you everywhere you go. At least in other games that have babies they have their own models.From what I remember (haven't played this game since I quit which was a year or two before the servers shut down), the animation for the animals was very clunky and choppy. It was okay to handle, but a bit annoying and hard to look at at times. Too many bugs to mention.Hunger and thirst went down too fast. 'Nuff said.Decent idea, I saw a some potential, but the community and lack of updates prior to the server shutdown ruined it. In my time of playing I hadn't seen a single update. If the game was still available to purchase, I would not recommend getting it.. A great upgrade from the old, webb-browser based form of the game. However, there are still issues as there were in the old version of the game. First of all, singleplayer mode is basically unplayable, which is a problem as the servers on this version are currently empty. All of the AI wants to kill you, and wants nothing else. If it sees you, it will chase and kill you, whether that would benefit it in any way or not. Without the errors of a human player, this means that you will die within minutes or starting the game, and this is unavoidable. AI will not stop chasing you unless you go somewhere that it can't (eg. rabbit/meerkat holes found in some maps.) Also, the game adjusts the amount of each animal in the map when you change at a totem, always putting in far more predators than you can handle, and potential mates will always try to kill you, as far as I can tell. Singleplayer needs to be fixed for it to be playable while not a lot of people have it.PS: If people could not downvote the game just because they don't like its concept, that would help. We need more people who did enjoy the browser-based version to play it, not be scared off by your negative reviews. The game will be much better when there are more people.. I liked that the rabbit and the fox had burrows, but was disapointed they could not dig and make new burrows. Also, I think it would be cool if the Bears could have like caves or something and if the wolves had a den area. I also saw that you were thinking of having birds. If that happens i would add a nesting feature so the player could make individual homes for themselves. Over all a very cool game. Just needs some more interactive features and also i think a save feature would be cool!. WARNING: To get anywhere, you need to eat drink, and oh yes... Have coiduce in painful repitition just to get up in the leaderboards. By the way, your score is not tracked, and you will have comitted crimes against nature many times. Do not get this.. This is a simple, nature simulator. Enjoyed the variety of animals within the environment. Would recommend to others.. Honestly, I suggest it to those that are competitive Or love animals like me. I think the clever idea would be to ban the IP of the toxic players like Tornappart and his gang, and other people who say they're "Playing the game" I mean sure, I could understand it if there was no food anywhere, but food respawns litterally everywhere. Another simple soulution for food problems, be something that eats grass then turn back into whatever you were before. I swear if I had the access to this games coding and stuff, I would try too keep it going. This game was good, in fact I'll go as far as to say it was and AWESOME game, there was just that big group of people that wanted refunds because a certain group will just Kill on sight and spawnkill etc. If there was a way to save this game it would be to make it so you can kick certain people or ban them from the server, you know, sorta like gmod, make it so you can be the host of the server, or have moderators. Like I said, loads of potential and I'm just upset it had to end this way. I wish there was a way to save this game, maybe there is, but only time will tell.
